It’s Lovin’ Baby

This artwork is a celebration of love in its many forms, represented through delicate ceramic hearts. Each heart encases a memory, rejecting the notion that the most profound love is solely romantic. In my many hearts, I represent many loves— friends, family, animals, and even inanimate objects that evoke certain memories. Depicting the abundance of love, this artwork proposes a democratization of the concept of love itself. At the heart of “It’s Lovin’ Baby” is the portrayal of Mama and Papa, who are the most profound examples of love in my life.
