Internship at All India Artisans Crafts and Welfare Association

My way of thanking the community

At my internship I connected with artisans from the Krishna Karuppur Kalamkari House and Narrikuravar Tribe for for building e-commerce sites. I led the creative sector at AIACA for these two projects and successfully helped increase engagement and promoted the dying art of the two artisan groups.Excerpt from annual report- "Eraiyur Beads Making and Development Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) and Krishna Karuppur Kalamkari House have been onboarded on the FYND platform to create their web presence and give them access to a payment Gateway, for doing business over Social Media Platforms."

Volunteer Workshops at Manpower Management Centre

At MMC, an NGO, I worked alongside underprivileged women at the centre to whom I taught crochet and marketing skills. I also led exhibitions to help them sell products that they had create, this way I was able to give them exposure and also teach them required skills.

Student Empowerment Through Unity (SETU) Club

As a co founder and designer of the SETU club, I contributed by planning events, making event posters and organising events. We conducted bake sales, and sold bookmarks to increase awareness for different social topics that we felt were important. We were also able to donate large sums to various non profit organisations.

Tutoring at Mera Parivaar

At Mera Parivaar NGO, I tutored grades 4-8 in basics of English & Math. Along with that, I led a student group to paint on the walls in and around the school illustrating community issues, fostering awareness and learning.
